The Perfect Wedding Day at Morning Glory Farm

Morning Glory Farm

Emily and Cameron decided to host their garden party style wedding at Morning Glory Farm in Unionville, NC. They wanted to be in the Charlotte area, but still wanted a quaint and intimate venue which perfectly describes Morning Glory. This venue is elegant, classic, and whimsical. From the stunning waterside ceremony tucked in the woods, to the perfectly manicured gardens for cocktail hour, this venue leaves no detail unlooked. The newly constructed bronze greenhouse is magical and the perfect place for reception.

Family-Owned Venue

Something important to Emily and Cameron when planning their wedding was that they wanted to connect with their vendors. When we first toured Morning Glory Farm, we immediately felt like family to them. The venue is family-owned, and we felt that they were just as excited for the wedding as we were. The owners are respectful and are willing to help out in any way they can to make the wedding day perfect. We chose to utilize the beautiful garden bistro chairs that the venue provides for the ceremony which was a great touch. Emily and Cameron highly value family and they felt right at home at Morning Glory Farm.

Reception Details

We loved how the design elements of Emily and Cameron’s Wedding came together and were so happy with how the special day went. We opted to rent specialty chairs for the reception that helped bring the natural bronze tones out from the greenhouse. This added a beautiful garden style to the reception. The bronze greenhouse easily fit 108 guests for a plated meal and still had room for a stage, band, and dance floor. We also added a sweet heart table for the newlyweds to enjoy their meal together. The sun shines through the trees into the greenhouse which naturally highlights the glassware and floral elements on the tables. The green, cream, gold, and blue design tones created the perfect palette for Emily and Cameron’s reception.

Perfect Location

Everything from the cottage bridal suite to the reception space are on property to make the day run smoothly. Despite being tucked away in a quiet location, everything is close by at Morning Glory Farm. From a planner’s perspective, everything felt so seamless working with the venue’s staff and vendor team.

From the designer – Emily and Cameron hosted their Italian-inspired garden wedding at Morning Glory Farm, an established property tucked outside of Charlotte with a stunning new bronze greenhouse. They focused on incorporating intentional details, heart-warming moments, and stunning design elements into their wedding making this Fall day in October completely unforgettable. Emily’s custom veil was the basis for many design decisions to create a cohesive garden-party soiree, including the custom seating chart, satin and floral linens, and floral-rimmed plates. And while Emily adorned her unique veil, she loved swapping her veil for a dramatic bow on the back of her dress to enter into the reception. We absolutely loved pulling from the natural beauty of Morning Glory Farm’s property and new greenhouse, focusing on shades of green, cream, and gold with pops of blue for Emily and Cameron’s design. But what truly set this wedding apart was the atmosphere of the day – filled with pure love and utter devotion and joy from the couple’s closest family and friends.
