They fell in love with this venue after visiting because it is the whole package for a wedding in the greater Columbia area. Tin Roof Farms has every element of a luxurious wedding from the bridal suite, to the quaint chapel, to the open concept property. The possibilities are endless at Tin Roof Farms as they have 75 acres of land to make your farmland wedding dreams come true. Saluda, SC is a peaceful town away from the busy streets which makes bigger weddings feel more intimate and private.
Wedding Days at Tin Roof Farms
Weddings at Tin Roof Farms are classy, elegant, and bright, making them perfect for the Spring and Summer season. Shelby and Ridge got married at the end of May and incorporated neutral colors to make their special day picturesque. We love working with the staff at Tin Roof Farms because of how hands on they are before and during the wedding day. They also assist with guest parking and transportation from the parking area to the beautiful onsite chapel. Shelby and Ridge utilized this chapel for their ceremony and opted to use the indoor Barn for the reception. Tin Roof Farms is a great choice for any size wedding as they have a number of ceremony and event spaces available for different numbers of guests. The Outdoor Chapel Oaks Ceremony Site can accommodate 400+ guests making this a very flexible venue.
Natural Lighting and Country Farmland
Tin Roof is located among acres of country farmland and is full of natural light in all the venue spaces. This venue is the perfect combination of classic elegance and southern chic which Shelby and Ridge showcased in their wedding. The reception barn they used features chandeliers, wall sconces, and a neutral background. The five glass roll-up doors make a seamless transition from the outdoor patio and courtyard to the indoor reception space. The chapel is full of natural light streaming in from the stained glass cross. This country church is the most popular choice for ceremony and is a great option to not worry about weather.
Simple Details
We loved how Shelby and Ridge incorporated little details throughout the wedding day to make things even more special. Their live painter painted the ceremony in the chapel to forever encapsulate their special day. Shelby and Ridge had a private last dance to have a peaceful and heartfelt end to the busy day. They also decorated Tin Roof Farms beautifully with neutral tones in the linens and flowers, and added dried fruit to accent the table settings. Since Shelby and Ridge are Gamecock fans, Cocky had to make an appearance to cheer them on during the reception! These are just a few things we love about this special day.

Shelby’s wedding design was stunning union between the Italian countryside and Southern hospitality. We incorporated shades of neutrals from the white and greens in the florals from Becca Zorn Designs to the beige and champagne in the linens. But what truly set this event apart was the intentional utilization of fresh fruits and nuts to accent the centerpieces. Walnuts, chesnuts, pears, and figs were delicately placed on the guest tables and at the stunning central lounge. The statement central lounge was our favorite element of cocktail hour with a massive urn bursting with greenery surrounded by lounge seating incorporating the specialty patterned linens. All of the design elements came together in the framework of the invitation suite by Sarah Jo Design with shades of neutral incoporating our specialty linen pattern.”
