Millstone at Adams Pond Venue
Laura and Brendan celebrated their vibrant, Spring wedding day at The Millstone at Adams Pond in Columbia, South Carolina. This historic estate dates back to the 1700s and is a perfect venue for weddings of all sizes. There are options to host your wedding ceremony on the front patio overlooking the pond or in the back grass amongst the trees. Laura and Brendan opted to host the ceremony on the patio, cocktail hour indoors and on the back porch, and a tented reception in the backyard area. This made their special day flow beautifully as guests moved from the front of the venue to the back.
Colorful Spring Details
Laura and Brendan’s wedding day embraced vibrant spring colors. Laura knew she wanted her bridesmaids to feel themselves, so they wore mismatched styles in pink, green, and floral designs of their choosing. They held neutral white floral bouquets which further made the colors pop. Green tablecloths accented cocktail hour and reception spaces including the stunning cake table. Floral centerpieces in the reception tent featured pink, orange, and other bright spring hues, brightening the space.

Bonnie Brunt Cakes crafted a stunning and delicious five tier wedding cake which was a beautiful centerpiece. Stee Garman Photography captured every heartfelt moment, providing family and friends with memories to last a lifetime. Southern Way Catering delighted guests with some of our favorite options including their Carolina barbeque pork. With the growing trend of couples wanting a content creator to document behind-the-scenes moments in real time, Laura chose Christiana Collective to provide dynamic, candid content throughout the day.
