Elegant Farm Wedding Venue in Ridgeway, South Carolina

Designing this Oakbrook Farm wedding in Ridgeway, SC was the highlight of the Hamilton Events fall season. It was such a joy to celebrate the matrimony of Davis and Cam on this perfect October day. From the quaint farm setting to the fragrant blooms, this day was filled with the comfort and warmth of the countryside.

Davis chose this stunning venue because it checked all of her boxes. Even though Oakbrook Farm is located just outside of downtown Columbia, it still gave her the quant and quiet countryside she desired. She also knew she needed a large venue to accommodate over 200 of her family and friends. Oakbrook Farm is perfect for a large guest count due to the many spaces available to celebrate.

The perfect venue on the perfect fall day

What truly made this venue special was the distinct areas for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. It was a delight offering guests room to roam and mingle throughout the night! We also loved working at this venue because the staff was personal and accommodating. They were willing to go the extra mile to meet the couples’ needs.

The beautifully decorated venue had whimsically draped lighting, creating a romantic and intimate atmosphere. Breathtaking florals with vibrant hues of orange, blues, and pinks perfectly complemented the autumn weather. The cake meadow and floral head table runner were two of our favorite floral design elements.

Making a Dream a Reality

Davis and her family’s long-standing love of horses made it special to have her Newlywed photos in a pasture filled with horses. Davis was gifted with a great support team of her bridesmaids who’s love and support on wedding day shown as brightly as their matching dresses. This same love and support was also shown to Cam by his groomsmen–especially on the dancefloor!

A Floral-filled Oakbrook Farm Wedding

This farm wedding uniquely offered Davis and Cam the opportunity to infuse their personality into the celebration. We loved the detailed arch created by Petal and Vine with gorgeous flowers and greenery bursting with color to emulate Davis’s bubbly personality. After dancing the night away it was time for the grand exit! Davis and Cam made their grand exit in Columbia’s Blue 72.

We were tasked to plan and design their wedding in less than 5 months, and it was a joy every step of the way. Our favorite part of their wedding design was the ceremony layout. Davis was passionate about having her ceremony on the patio surrounding the fountain, so we used the fountain to our advantage by surrounding it with chairs on the groom’s side and adding greenery for a simple, but impactful touch. This turned into such a statement piece for their day, and it was so much fun seeing Davis’s vision come to life.”
